First Wednesday
Lunch with the League
with Andrew Pantazi,
Founding Editor
at The Tributary:
A Northeast Florida Journalism Collective

Join us on May 1st at Seasons 52, 5096 Big Island Drive, for First Wednesday Lunch with the League with guest speaker Andrew Pantazi, Founding Editor at The Tributary. Andrew will talk about his work as an editor and reporter for The Tributary, as well as current issues impacting Northeast Florida.

A graduate of the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications, Andrew Pantazi edits and reports for The Tributary. He previously worked as a reporter at The Florida Times-Union where he helped organize the newsroom's union with the NewsGuild-CWA. He is a Jacksonville native raising his two sons in the city.

The Tributary is a nonprofit, nonpartisan newsroom that investigates Jacksonville’s entrenched problems and proposed solutions through collaboration with existing local media. It complements existing local news by focusing on under-reported topics such as redistricting, children’s issues, infrastructure, racial inequities and the criminal justice system.

Doors open at 11:20 and lunch will begin at 11:45, followed by the program.

The menu includes a small Field Greens Salad, choice of entree (Chicken Caprese Sandwich, Avocado Toast, or Crab Cake Sandwich), a Mini Indulgence Dessert and beverage (Coffee, Iced Tea, or Soft Drink), at a cost per person of $35.00 for members and their guests. Non-members who purchase tickets will pay an additional $2.00 Technology Convenience fee, for a total of $37.00.

Tickets are available using the Register Now Button.  Members and non-members are encouraged to attend. Members please "Log In" to pay the $35.00 member fee. Anyone who does not "Log In" will be charged $37.00 for the ticket and Technology Convenience fee! You will be asked to prepay with a credit card and select a sandwich choice at registration. Tickets are non-refundable.

Registration will close on April 28th, and tickets will not be available at the door. This is an in-person only event, it will not be available on Zoom. Seating is limited so register early!
