In preparation for Jacksonville City Council Rules Committee public hearing on redistricting, the League will host The Tributary's Andrew Pantazi and League member Professor Marcella Washington on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at noon.


Marcella Washington is a retired Florida State College at Jacksonville political science professor who studied Black politics. She is a Jacksonville native and a graduate of the New Stanton Senior High and earned her Ph.D. from Clark Atlanta University.


Andrew Pantazi is the editor of The Tributary, a nonprofit news outlet focused on reporting Jacksonville's entrenched problems. He is a Jacksonville native and is the father of two sons.
